Ransom – Pain & Glory (iTunes)

  • Pain and Glory "The Album" is a classic master piece that the entire world need to hear and see. I say see because it's literally a movie in sound. Ransom lyrics are powerful and heart-felt. He tells stories about his life growing up in "Childhood." He expressed his love for his brother and his relationship with his dad in "Born Free." He expressed his street side in "How you want it" which has a west coast vibe. Despite being a foster child, Ransom manage to have a vision of being a legend as he promised his mom and dad in "Major Star" rather it was at rapping, basketball, or football. Ransom addressed issues from his life where he gives hope to many young children who are lost in the ghettos and anyone else experiencing a struggle in life. Ransom literally gave his heart full of pain to Hip Hop to keep it breathing since many rappers aren't willing to do it. Most rappers are busy sucking and jiving and aren't concerned with the ghetto, They rather be Illuminati celebrities who worship the devil. Once you listen, you will "press rewind" and if you're a skeptic then you will become a believer. These are words from Ransom in "Fallin." Ransom is hungry and deserves the respect. You can play this album over and over again without skipping a track especially if you can truly relate or going through issues in life. In my opinion, Pain & Glory "The Album" is one of the greatest albums in Hip Hop History. Ransom as a MC and Pain & Glory "The Album" are unique and stand alone which no one can touch. And if you know any rapper who is better then Ran then pick him out because its going to take him and a couple of other rappers to take him out. Appearances on the album come from Joe Budden, Jadakiss, Fredie Gibbs, and more.
