Few artists are as adept at depicting the shadowy realities of inner-city life as Black Milk, and the Motown rapper/producer's fifth solo set promises to be one of his most harrowing and powerful musical documents to date. Coming on the heels of 2013's critically-acclaimed No Poison, No Paradise, If There's a Hell Below will find the artist showcasing his skills on both sides of the boards over the course of 12 self-produced tracks. The previously released singles, "What It's Worth," "Detroit's New Dance Show" and "Gold Piece" offer a hint of what's to come on the full project. Ab, Bun B, Gene Obey, Mel, Pete Rock and Random Axe join Black Milk throughout the LP, which is entirely self-produced. If There's a Hell Below is scheduled for independent, digital release on Tuesday, October 28.
