It is 14 tracks deep and if you have been a listener on the site, then you may have heard some of the songs on it. M.I did some experimenting on this joint with singing and rapping on non-hiphop type beats. However, as expected, it is a solid piece of work done on instrumentals that he was certain could not be cleared for official release to sell. MI is oozing with enormous creativity, lyrical drive by’s, seduction, flirtation, verbal portrait painting and so much more. Chocolate City head honcho M.I. Abaga just dropped The Illegal Music Two mixtape. The free 18-track tape features a laundry list of  appearances. But, just in case you think it’s all hype, let me give you a quick rundown of all the great acts that graced this mixtape – X.O Senavoe, Phenom, Yemi Alade, Efa, 5Mics, SDC, Pope, Shaydee, Ruby, Boogey, Hench, Yung6ix, Loose Kaynon, Ice Prince, Pryse, Maytronomy, Funbi, Makiller and South African superstar HHP. That’s not a short list and each and every one of them had a stunning performance on the record they were featured on; they didn’t slack in the slightest; some even outshining Mr. Incredible himself on a few tracks. Kwesta – The Quest (Hosted by C-Live)

Senzo Mfundo Vilakazi was born on the 11th August 1988. He hails from the township of Katlehong in the East Rand of Johannesburg, where his dreams to become a rap superstar began. KWESTA is an acclaimed wordsmith and his street banger “Shap Fede” created a solid buzz and received good rotation on local radio stations, it was accompanied by a groundbreaking mixtape hosted by the renowned Dj C-Live (5FM). The mixtape was made available for free online and over 3000 people went on to download what we can only imagine went on to become their daily medicine. KWESTA’s much prepared for and anticipated debut album “Special ReKwest” was released September 2010. The album is young, dynamic and does not conform to anything you?ve heard in recent times. “Stomp”, “Flava” & “Flash It” have proven to be crowd favourites on tv and radio.

The synopsis of this release is its work that’s been produced over the last 3 years. At first listen just scheming through the release has a neo-soul, smooth and soothing feel. Think A Tribe Called Quest, The Roots, J Dilla, Raphael Saadiq…it’s that smooth. Trompie is on production on the project except for Them Days which was produced by Ootz. “Rose ave.” is the upcoming debut studio album by American duo You+Me, formed by singer-songwriter Alecia Moore, better known by her stage name as P!nk and Canadian musician Dallas Green, best known by his stage name as City and Colour. It’s scheduled to be released on digital retailers on October 14, 2014 via RCA Records. It comes preceded by the lead single and duo’s artist name “You and Me“, premiered alongside the lyric video on VEVO on Monday September 8th.
