The excitement surrounding the release of WWE 2K15 has only been amplified with the announcement Monday of the soundtrack for 2K Sports’ latest wrestling video game.John Cena announced on Twitter that he has curated the soundtrack for the game, which features two separate collaborations between the Doctor of Thuganomics and rapper Wiz Khalifa. The video game developers have used athletes and musicians in the past for the NBA 2K series, but this is the first time a wrestler has chosen the WWE 2K soundtrack. With songs from top-selling artists like Flo Rida, Big Smo, Mystery Skulls and others, the soundtrack is a noteworthy addition to WWE 2K15. For those looking to order the soundtrack before the game is released, it will be available on iTunes starting Oct. 21. WWE 2K15 game will be released on Oct. 28 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in North America with the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions being released on Nov. 18 in North America

AKA - Alter Ego

Kiernan Forbes, popularly known as AKA, released his hotly anticipated debut solo album Alter Ego 23 July 2011. Featuring hip hop heavyweights such as HHP, Tumi, Amu, Khuli Chana and Pro, as well as top comedian Loyiso Gola, the 17-track album justifies the long wait hip hop fans have endured for the rapper’s full length work. It has taken the flamboyant wordsmith over six years to release a solo album, since starting out in 2004 with a group called Entity. As a member of the highly prolific IV League, AKA has produced hits for a host of local acts, including Proverb, Maggz, JR and Loyiso Bala. At the age of 16 the self-proclaimed “new kid on the block” was nominated for a prestigious Kora Award and in 2009 won a Hype Award for Best Newcomer. Taylor Swift – 1989 (iTunes Deluxe Edition)

“1989” is the fifth studio album by American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift. It’s confirmed as her first ever POP album and it was released on digital retailers on October 27, 2014 via Big Machine Records. It comes preceded by the lead single “Shake It Off“, premiered during the worldwide Live Stream on Yahoo! on August 18th. These guys are making a mark in the music industry.  The group from Diepkloof, Soweto, is currently busy with a tour called Area Code Parties and they aim to entertain people all over Mzansi.  Collen Ndou, aka J-skillz, Tshepo Mokou, aka Gimboss, and Andrew Matli had their first break in 2005 with an album called The Landline Mix. The album made their name with songs like Otlwa and Magimbala.  They brokethrough with their new album, Redial 985, which was rocking the airwaves with pumping tracks like Shapa, Phunya and Abonjunju. And it’s no wonder they produce such good music – they have worked with the likes of Psyfo, Ishmael from Jozi, TXL and TP. Even though they didn’t know this would be their career, they went as far as attending music school to build on their talent. The trio says they believe that music chose them and that it’s their gift from God, they are passionate about what they are doing, they are growing bigger day by day. The support they get from the public and fans keeps them going. This group also has a company called 985 Multimedia, which specialises in marketing and advertising. This is another way they aim to expand and put their group on the map. 985 – Remember that num-ber!

An EP stands for Extended Play which is usually released before a full album just to give the fans a taste of what is coming.  He released his EP titled 24/7/366 which consist of 12 Tracks including most likely popular hit "Do It". As a whole, the EP is Explosive! A versatile mix of different concepts/experimenting with different beats really comes together to enhance the lyrical content which is also on its own level, from tracks such as "High School Cool" & "In My Walk" to "Can’t Wait" & "Out like That" but one track that I feel everyone can relate to is "Mistakes".

Jagged Edge – J.E. Heartbreak II [iTunes Plus AAC]

J.E. Heartbreak 2 is the eighth studio album by American R&B group Jagged Edge. It is a sequel to their multi-platinum 2000 album J.E Heartbreak. The group tweeted the proposed track list on August 2, 2014, stating that there is 57 days until its release. The first official single is, "Hope" which was released on June 17, 2014 on iTunes. The official music video for "Hope" was released on July 29, 2014. E Heartbreak II is a joint venture between So So Def and Hard Case Records, and is distributed by BMG Primary Wave Artists Services. Since reuniting with So So Def and management team Mauldin Brand Agency, Jagged Edge Has stayed busy this summer, touring the country, promoting their single “Hope,” and giving back to the community through their “I Hope 4 U” initiative, which partnered with WVEE (Atlanta) in August to host a benefit concert for Hosea Feed the Hungry.

Danity Kane – DK3

DK3 is the third and final studio album by American R&B/pop group Danity Kane, set to be released on October 28, 2014. It will be the group's first album in six years, as well as their only album without original group members D. Woods and Aundrea Fimbres. Following Aubrey O'Day and Woods departures from the group in 2008, the remaining members, Shannon Bex, Aundrea Fimbres, and Dawn Richard, split up. In 2013, Bex, Fimbres, O'Day, and Richard reunited with plans to release a new album. The group later initiated the No Filter Tour in the USA to promote their comeback and new music.[2] Following a few promotional performances, Fimbres announced in May 2014 that she would be leaving the group due to being engaged and her desire to start a family. Bex, O'Day, and Richard revealed that they would stay a trio and continue to perform together. However, tensions between O'Day and Richard lead to a fight in early August 2014, and the group split a few days later. On September 24, 2014 O'Day and Bex announced that the album would still be released as a thank you to their fans.

Ohio is the upcoming debut studio album by American rapper Stalley. The album is scheduled to be released on October 27, 2014, by Maybach Music Group and Atlantic Records. The album features guest appearances from Nipsey Hussle, Rick Ross, August Alsina, Ty Dolla Sign, Rashad and De La Soul. The album was supported by the singles "Always Into Something" and "Jackin' Chevys". On August 26, 2014, the music video was released for "Jackin' Chevys". The London Sessions is the thirteenth studio album by American R&B recording artist Mary J. Blige. The project is slated to be released in the United Kingdom on November 24, 2014 and the United States on December 2, 2014, through Capitol Records. After releasing a gold selling Christmas album in 2013 entitled A Mary Christmas and a full length soundtrack album for the film Think Like a Man Too, on July 9, 2014 it was announced Blige would move to London to experiment with a new sound. Blige spent a month in London recording her album in RAK studios with a host of young British acts, including Disclosure, Naughty Boy, Emeli Sandé and Sam Smith. Run The Jewels - Run the Jewels 2

Run the Jewels 2 is the second studio album by American hip hop duo Killer Mike and El-P, collectively known as Run the Jewels. The album was released early for free on October 24, 2014 and the following day on iTunes. It will also be available on CD and LP through Mass Appeal Records on October 28, 2014, although some retailers sold physical copies early. On September 2, 2014, Run the Jewels released a song titled "Blockbuster Night, Pt. 1", as the album's first single. On September 15, 2014, Run the Jewels released "Oh My Darling Don't Cry", the second offering from the album. "Oh My Darling Don't Cry", was later released on September 30, 2014, via digital distribution, as the album's second single.

Harry Potter - The Discography Soundtrack (iTunes Plus AAC M4A)

The collection starts off with the easily identifiable “Hedwig’s Theme”, which has been associated with the Potter films ever since. It was up to master composer John Williams to create a musical world fitting for a boy wizard. After all, it was Williams who created such wonderful scores for the Star Wars films, the Indiana Jones films, and so many others. Williams proved in his work for the first three films why he is still one of the best in the business. He utilizes every part of the orchestra, and every piece has a lot going on. While there’s a main theme being presented, there are smaller parts being played at the same time, all of which combine and make for wonderfully blended compositions. In “Harry’s Wondrous World”, we experience that feeling of being a young boy and being exposed for the first time to the magical world he had been denied by his Muggle relatives. The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra is brilliant here, fully capturing the splendor of the original recordings. The sound is sharp, and is wonderful to listen to whether you’re reading the books or just need some music playing. This is one collection I would have to recommend to any Harry Potter fan, or to anyone who loves good instrumental music. There’s much here to check out, and it is certainly magical.

So much has been said and written about the Beatles — and their story is so mythic in its sweep — that it’s difficult to summarize their career without restating clichés that have already been digested by tens of millions of rock fans. It’s hard to convey the scope of the Beatles’ achievements in a mere paragraph or two.
