Blood Moon: Year of the Wolf is the upcoming sixth studio album by American hip hop recording artist The Game. The album is scheduled to be released on October 14, 2014 by Blood Money Entertainment and eOne Music. For the upcoming compilation, the West Coast native calls his Blood Money signees Dubb and Skeme as well as many of the industry’s top artist such as 2 Chainz, T.I., French Montana, Tyga, Too Short, Yo Gotti, Bobby Shmurda, Ty Dolla $ign and more for guest features. The albums production credits belong to Boi-1da, DJ Mustard, SAP, Nottz, League of Starz, The Mekanics, Amadeus and a few others. The Game released the album's first single "Bigger than Me". The song heavily samples rock group Poliça's 2013 single "Warrior Lord". The second single off of Year of the Wolf, titled "Or Nah" was released on July 1, 2014. The album was originally scheduled to be released on September 16, 2014 but was pushed back a month for last minute touches and changes. The Game held a contest in which the fans could design the album cover. He found it so difficult to pick a cover that he pushed back the winners’ announcement twice. Finally, on September 4, 2014 he announced that Instagram user "haulazz_gmn" had made the cover he would use for the album
