Abdus - The Library

The winner of the 2009 Hype Award for Best Lyricist, Abdus, real name Ndlelanhle Biyase released his debut album "The Library" in 2012 and has promoted that throughout the province. His opening appearances for Usher (2012) and Lil'Wayne (2011) have solidified his status as the torch bearer for Hiphop in the province of Durban. Before I get carried away, let the man speak for himself. With 19 tracks featured on Library, Abdus’ music is soulful and creative, combining great beats with contemporary hip R&B sounds. The talented artist became involved and known on the hip hop scene in his college days when he would perform at the bus terminals at the Workshop on West Street every Friday after his classes.
